Units at Li’l Abner II are reserved for seniors making up to 60 percent of the area’s median income.  This means that individual seniors earning less than $40,980 or couples earning less than $46,800 can qualify to live there. 244 new affordable housing units for seniors

Miami-Dade County continues to address the affordability crisis by adding more units of housing that our seniors can afford. The opening of Li’l Abner II in Sweetwater includes 244 brand new affordable housing units for local seniors.

Units at Li’l Abner II are reserved for seniors making up to 60 percent of the area’s median income. This means that individual seniors earning less than $40,980 or couples earning less than $46,800 can qualify to live there.

This 8-story building has 106 one-bedroom units and 138 two-bedroom units with new appliances and modern finishes.
