Miami-Dade Department of Cultural Affairs presents the “2024 All Kids Included” district-wide student visual art competition

The contest is held every year in conjunction with the free All Kids Included Family Arts Festival, an annual community arts festival for children and families of all abilities. Artwork submissions are accepted through February 1, 2024. <p>Submissions are being accepted for the Miami-Dade County Department of Cultural Affairs' 2024 All Kids Included (AKI) district-wide student visual art competition open to all Miami-Dade students in grades Pre-K through 12. The contest is held every year in conjunction with the free <a href="https://www.mosscenter.org/mc/eventDetail.page?id=249">All Kids Included Family Arts Festival</a>, an annual community arts festival for children and families of all abilities.<strong> </strong>Artwork submissions are accepted through February 1, 2024.</p> <p>The 2024 contest theme "Celebrating Inclusion, Inner-strength, and Resilience," is inspired by the book, <em>Whatever Comes Tomorrow, </em>written by Rebecca Gardyn Levington, illustrated by Mariona Cabassa. Student artists are invited to submit original artwork depicting the contest theme and are asked to read the book for inspiration. Submissions are accepted through Miami-Dade County Public School art teachers, or individual students can submit artwork directly to the Miami-Dade County Department of Cultural Affairs or at any Miami-Dade Public Library System branches, during normal library hours.
