The Distinguished Budget Presentation Award is the highest form of recognition in governmental budgeting. In order to receive the budget award, the County had to satisfy nationally recognized guidelines for effective budget presentation. Miami-Dade County has been awarded the ‘Distinguished Budget Presentation Award’ from the Government Finance Officers Association (GFOA) for the fiscal period beginning October 1, 2023. The Distinguished Budget Presentation Award is the highest form of recognition in governmental budgeting.
