Miami-Dade Fire Rescue conducts fireworks inspections ahead of Fourth of July celebrations

In order to ensure public safety ahead of Fourth of July celebrations, Miami-Dade Fire Rescue (MDFR) will conduct fireworks inspections where sparklers are sold throughout Miami-Dade County to make sure vendors are properly certified by the state and are not selling illegal fireworks.

MDFR inspectors will be visiting various fireworks locations, including 9850 SW 24 Street in Miami, and will be available to talk about the potential dangers of using illegal fireworks, as well as to share fireworks safety information.
