Man arrested for possession of child pornography.
MIAMI-DADE ( February 24, 2025 )–
The Miami-Dade Sheriff's Office (MDSO) Internet Crimes Against Children Unit (ICAC) has arrested an individual who was in possession of illicit child pornography.
According to investigators, multiple tips were sent into the National Center for Missing and Exploited children (NCMEC) indicating that the subject is a staff member of a local school and was in possession of material containing minors engaging in sexual activity. The subject was later identified as Mr. Michael Rodriguez.
Detectives from the (ICAC) unit obtained a warrant to conduct a search of Mr. Rodriguez' computer, cellular phone, and other electronic devices. Detectives discovered multiple files that are criminal in nature.
Mr. Rodriguez was taken into custody and charged accordingly.
