The Miami-Dade Sheriff’s Office (MDSO) is announcing the launch of a new non-emergency phone number to better serve the community and improve communication. To streamline public access to non-emergency law enforcement services, MDSO has established a new dedicated phone number for all non-urgent matters.  Residents should use this number for issues such as noise complaints, minor traffic accidents, or general inquiries. This number is not intended for emergencies. For emergencies requiring immediate police, fire, or medical response, please call 911. NEW NON-EMERGENCY NUMBER: 305-SHERIFF (305-743-7433) Please be advised that the new non-emergency number replaces 305-4-Police. UPDATE: The 305-SHERIFF (non-emergency) number is currently only receiving calls from cell phones. At this time, landline calls are not connecting. Our team is actively working to resolve the issue, and we’ll keep you updated once the line is fully operational across all devices. Those calling from a landline can still reach our non-emergency line by dialing 305-4-POLICE.
