Miami-Dade County celebrates grand opening of Ludlam Trail Towers, affordable housing for older adults
On Tuesday, May 13th, Miami-Dade County will cut the ribbon on the newly constructed Ludlam Trail Towers, an affordable housing designed to serve the older adults. It is located at 6955 SW 24 Street, Miami, FL 33155.
The MV Real Estate Holdings, LLC development is comprised of 67 one- and two-bedroom apartments for income-qualifying residents. Unit amenities include a dishwasher, garbage disposal, and washer and dryer hookups. The residences are located within five-story buildings and feature additional development amenities such as a clubhouse, recreation room, community room, and resident programs designed to foster a vibrant and supportive community.
A unique and special amenity at Ludlam Trail Towers is a pedestrian overpass bridge and ramp, providing residents with direct access to and from Ludlam Linear Park.
The development received $11.5 million in funding support from Miami-Dade County, including:
- $6.5 million from the General Obligation Bond (GOB) program,
- $2 million from the Documentary Stamp Surtax (Surtax) Program,
