Mayor Daniella Levine Cava reacts to the shooting of two Israeli embassy staffers in Washington, D.C.
Miami-Dade County Mayor Daniella Levine Cava issued the following statement in response to the fatal shootings that took place on Wednesday night:
“I am horrified to learn that two young Israeli Embassy employees were shot and killed in Washington last night. My heartfelt condolences are with the families, loved ones and colleagues of the victims. We condemn this act of despicable violence targeting a Jewish event that spreads fear and hate among all our communities, and we call for swift justice for those who are responsible.”
