Alto Tower is part of Miami-Dade County’s Continuum of Care efforts aimed at providing affordable housing for residents who have experienced homeless in the past. Apartments are reserved for income-qualifying residents and for individuals with Section 8 vouchers, HUD-Veterans Affairs Supportive Housing (VASH) vouchers, or other agency-provided rental assistance. This mid-rise apartment community is comprised of 84 units: 10 one-bedroom studio units, 51 one-bedroom apartments, and 20 two-bedroom apartments. Amenities include a fitness room, business center/meeting room, two case management offices, a manager’s office, and a leasing office. Alto Tower received $2,050,000 in funding from Miami-Dade County’s Housing and Community Development Department through the HOME-American Rescue Plan (HOME-ARP) program.
