This free, family-friendly event is designed to introduce participants of all ages to the joys of fishing, boating, and conservation through fun, hands-on activities. Guests will learn ethical angling practices, receive conservation tips, and practice essential skills such as knot tying, casting techniques, and fish handling—all aimed at fostering confident, responsible anglers. Participants are encouraged to bring their own fishing gear, but free loaner equipment will be available on site. The event is made possible through strong partnerships with local nonprofit organizations and veterans’ groups.
