Miami-Dade County Community Services Department to host Veterans Job and Resource Fair
The Miami-Dade County Community Services Department will host its annual Veterans Job and Resource Fair on Monday, November 10, 2025, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Joseph Caleb Center, located at 5400 NW 22nd Avenue, Miami, FL 33142.
Held in recognition of National Military Appreciation Month, the event will connect local veterans and their families with employment opportunities, supportive services, and community resources designed to assist them in achieving personal and professional success.
“Our veterans represent the best of our community — courage, service, and sacrifice. It’s our responsibility to ensure they have access to the tools and opportunities they need to thrive when they return home,” said Miami-Dade County Mayor Daniella Levine Cava. “Through events like the Veterans Job and Resource Fair, we’re connecting veterans and their families to meaningful careers and vital support services, while showing our deep gratitude for their continued contributions to Miami-Dade.”
This year’s fair will feature a variety of employers, training programs, and service providers offering on site interviews, career guidance, and information on benefits, housing, education, and mental health support. Miami-Dade County District 3 Commissioner Keon Hardemon will also be in attendance to show his continued support for veterans and their contributions to the community.
The event is sponsored by Chick fil A, whose partnership underscores a shared commitment to honoring and empowering those who have served our nation.
“Our veterans have given so much in service to our country, and it is our duty as a community to ensure they have the support, resources, and opportunities they deserve,” said Cathy Burgos, Director of the Community Services Department. “We believe in a continuum of care that meets people where they are. This event is about empowerment and making sure those who served our country have every opportunity to build strong, stable futures.”
The Veterans Job and Resource Fair is free and open to all. Attendees are encouraged to bring multiple copies of their resumes and be prepared to meet with employers on site.
