Elections in Hialeah, Miami, and Miami Beach Dec. 9
Last day to register to vote in these elections is Nov.10, last day to request a vote-by-mail ballot is Nov. 27
Elections are taking place Tuesday, Dec. 9. There will be elections in the City of Hialeah for Councilmember Groups III and IV; in the City of Miami for Mayor and Commission District 3; and in the City of Miami Beach for Commission Group 1.
Important Dates & Ways to Vote:
- Voter Registration Deadline: November 10, 2025
Voters must be registered by November 10, 2025 to participate in the December 9 elections. Individuals can register or update their voter information online at votemiamidade.gov or in person. - Vote-by-Mail Request Deadline: November 27, 2025
The last day to request a Vote-by-Mail ballot is 5:00 p.m. on November 27. - Early Voting: December 5 – December 7, 2025
Early Voting will be available in Hialeah, Miami, and Miami Beach. Dates, hours, and locations for each municipality can be found at votemiamidade.gov. Voters may choose any early voting site within their city to cast their ballot. - Election Day: December 9, 2025
On Election Day, voters must vote at their assigned precinct. Check your Voter Registration Card for the most accurate polling location information. Polls will be open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
“I can’t stress enough how important our municipal elections are and how critical voter participation is. These are to elect our leaders in the governments closest to the people that affect our daily lives,” said Mami-Dade Supervisor of Elections, the Honorable Alina Garcia.
Voters can review sample ballots, confirm their voter registration status, request Vote-by-Mail, view Early Voting schedules, and find their Election Day polling location at votemiamidade.gov or by calling (305) 499-VOTE (8683).
