Peguero Rivera [email protected] 305-471-1900 MDSO Homicide Detectives Make an Arrest in Death of Missing Person On Saturday, October 11, 2025, at 3:47 p.m., Miami-Dade Sheriff’s Office (MDSO) Hammocks District deputies were dispatched to SW 168 Street and SW 205 Avenue, in reference to a body found floating in a canal. On Saturday, October 11, 2025, at 3:47 p.m., Miami-Dade Sheriff’s Office (MDSO) Hammocks District deputies were dispatched to SW 168 Street and SW 205 Avenue, in reference to a body found floating in a canal. The preliminary investigation revealed that upon deputies’ arrival, they discovered the body of an unidentified female floating in the canal. MDSO Homicide Bureau investigators responded and assumed the death investigation. According to investigators the female had been reported missing by the subject days before she was found. Through investigative means MDSO Homicide Bureau detectives were able to determine that the victim had been murdered by the subject. On Wednesday, November 26, 2025, Homicide detectives along with the Homicide Street Violence Task Force located the subject and transported him to the MDSO Homicide Office. MIAMI-DADE ( November 27, 2025 )–

On Saturday, October 11, 2025, at 3:47 p.m., Miami-Dade Sheriff’s Office (MDSO) Hammocks District deputies were dispatched to SW 168 Street and SW 205 Avenue, in reference to a body found floating in a canal.
