On Wednesday, Feb. 4, 2026, Miami-Dade County Mayor Daniella Levine Cava and Department
of Transportation and Public Works Director and CEO Stacy L. Miller, P.E., will join
Citizens' Independent Transportation Trust (CITT) officials and community leaders
for a conversation on the latest transit initiatives and the announcement of the 2025
CITT Ambassador of the Year.
<p>On Wednesday, February 4, 2026, Miami-Dade County Mayor Daniella Levine Cava and
Miami-Dade Department of Transportation and Public Works Director and CEO Stacy L.
Miller, P.E., will join Citizens' Independent Transportation Trust (CITT) officials
and community leaders for a conversation on the latest transit initiatives and the
announcement of the 2025 CITT Ambassador of the Year – all in celebration of
the CITT Ambassador Program’s third anniversary. <br /><br />The CITT Ambassador
Program continues to empower transit riders by providing a platform for frequent riders
to share feedback about their transit experiences. As CITT Ambassadors, these volunteers
receive mobility rewards for completing surveys in an online app, participating in
focus groups, and sharing informative transportation messages on social media. <br
/><br />The data captured is then compiled and shared with the Department of Transportation
and Public Works (DTPW) and municipalities in Miami-Dade County to help enhance transit
experiences. <br /><br />The event is being organized by Miami's Community Newspapers
as part of an ongoing series of community events that foster engagement and create
