This boulder will stand as a permanent testament to the bravery, sacrifice, and unwavering commitment of Deputy Jaramillo, who served and gave his life for the residents of Miami-Dade County.  This monument will stand as a place for reflection for everyone visiting the Kendall District Station and a promise that his memory will never be forgotten.
