The 5K and 10K give runners a unique opportunity to be part of history and create a legacy. In 2025 at the inaugural race, over 400 runners participated and were part of the legacy! The participants will run a course on a former landfill site with unique terrain full of hills and elevated landscape rarely found in Florida, which will be transformed into part of a greater regional county park. The event supports the development and transformation of a once-forgotten greenspace into Miami-Dade County’s premier destination for runners in the area. Runners can register for the race <a href="https://runsignup.com/Race/FL/Doral/WASTETORACEK" target="_blank" rel="noopener">here</a> and use code “WTR10” for $10 discount on the signup fee. Limited spots are available for the 10K.
