49 New MDSO Deputies to Be Sworn In
The Miami Dade Sheriff's Office (MDSO) will proudly welcome 49 new deputies on Thursday,
June 30, 2026
<p style="text-align: justify;">The Miami Dade Sheriff's Office (MDSO) will proudly
welcome 49 new deputies on Tuesday, June 30, 2026, at 10 a.m. The new recruits successfully
completed 40 weeks of intense academic, physical, and practical training in areas
such as patrol procedures, criminal law, and crisis intervention. Sheriff’s
Law Enforcement Class #2 will begin their service and a legacy that will shape the
future of MDSO. The swearing in ceremony will be held at the Miami Dade College North
Campus School of Justice located at 11380 NW 27 Avenue, Miami FL, 33167. </p>
