Colome [email protected] 305-471-1900 Shooting Investigation Shooting Investigation At approximately 5:25 p.m., Miami-Dade Sheriff's Office (MDSO) deputies responded to a gas station located at 10300 NW 12th Avenue in reference to a shooting.  According to investigators, two males became involved in an altercation, brandished firearms, and exchanged gunfire. One of the individuals was struck by gunfire, and drove himself to a nearby hospital, where he was then transported to Ryder Trauma Center. The other individual, whose injury status is unknown, fled the scene in a black sedan. During the incident, a vehicle at the gas station was struck by the gunfire. No other injuries were reported.
