Miami-Dade County Parks, Recreation and Open Spaces to host free Harvest & Wellness Family Festival on October 10
Inclusive event will feature activities and resources for people with disabilities, and their families.
The Miami-Dade County Parks, Recreation and Open Spaces Department (PROS) will host its annual Harvest & Wellness Family Festival on Saturday, October 10, 2026, from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m. at the Westchester Cultural Arts Center in Tropical Park at 7930 SW 40th Street.
The festival will feature a pumpkin patch, rides, arts and crafts, performances, food and information about recreational programs and adaptive sports. Free pumpkins will be available to the first 200 families sponsored by Walmart and Home Depot.
The department’s Therapeutic Recreation and Inclusion Unit presents the festival in partnership with the Roxy Theatre Group and the Westchester Cultural Arts Center. Support from the Parks Foundation of Miami-Dade, Koala ABA & Learning Center, All Kinds Included-Jar of HeARTS, Badia Spices and the Gonzalez Family, Walmart, Home Depot, Fraternus, Pacific Fins & Sliver Light Sounds and Skaters Edge benefits the Leisure Access Foundation.
