Miami-Dade County seeks community input on East Killian’s future at Nov. 10 planning workshop

On Tuesday, November 10, the Department of Regulatory and Economic Resources’ (RER) Planning Division will conduct a community workshop to discuss potential improvements in District 8, between South Dixie Highway and SW 92 Avenue and from SW 112 Street to SW 128 Street. A study is currently underway to help develop community‑specific recommendations for the area.

The study area features unique architectural, historic and aesthetic characteristics that reflect the identity of the East Killian neighborhood.

The workshop, held in an open house format, will take place from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Coral Reef Branch Library, 9211 Coral Reef Drive, Miami, FL 33157.

The public is invited to participate and share opinions and design ideas for future planning of this area.

This workshop is being facilitated following a resolution adopted by the Board of County Commissioners and advanced by District 8 Commissioner Danielle Cohen Higgins.
