Request an Animal Trap

Once safely trapped, residents should bring dogs and cats to the Pet Adoption and Protection Center in Doral, Miami-Dade County Animal Services' main location. Animals will be scanned for microchips and if found to have one, their owners will be contacted.

If cats are trapped as part of the Trap-Neuter-Vaccinate-Return program, you can pick up the cat or choose to have the cat returned to you or to the area where it was picked up. Cats not picked up from the Pet Adoption and Protection Center after several days will be released back to the community from which they came. Injured or diseased cats are not released back into the community.
