Nepotism Policy

Nepotism is the showing of favoritism toward relatives, based upon that relationship, rather than an objective evaluation of ability or suitability. County personnel should make all appointments and promotions based on merit and fitness, and they should be conducted in a non-discriminatory manner without regard to other factors, such as familial status.
