When making the report it is important to provide as many details as possible including location, description of abuse, description of the animal and any photos.
Most people are not aware of the practice of tethering –restraining or tying—a dog to any object or structure for long periods of time and without supervision. Leaving them alone is considered animal cruelty and can cause physical and psychological harm, skin sores and can result in making the dog aggressive.
