Special Task Force to Reduce Inefficiencies in Procurement (STRIP)

The Special Task Force to Reduce Inefficiencies in Procurement (STRIP) was established by the Board of County Commissioners (Board) on May 6, 2025, through Resolution No.: R-441-25.

The purpose of the STRIP is to conduct a comprehensive review of the County’s existing laws, codes, and procedures governing procurement (goods and services, professional services agreements, public works and construction contracts, public-private partnership agreements, leases and concessions), and provide recommendations to the Board that will improve the County's procurement practices.
For questions or additional information regarding the STRIP, please contact: Michou Jean, Section Manager, Strategic Procurement Department, via email: [email protected], or by phone at 305-375-3161.
