The Small Business Grant Program offers funding opportunities for small owned and operated businesses to purchase equipment, supplies, advertising/marketing, inventory, building liability insurance, security systems and to make minor renovations.
All businesses must be located in the specified county commission district
Must be a for-profit business
Must not be part of a national chain
A physical address is required
Supporting documentation must be provided (W-9, Municipal Local Business Tax Certificate, any applicable licenses, etc.)
Home-based businesses can apply

Small business owners in District 10 can apply for Commissioner Anthony Rodriguez’s Mom and Pop Small Business Grant Program and receive up to $5,000 in grant funding.
Applications will be available May 4 through May 15 and can be downloaded online or can be picked up at the District 10 office, located at 7146 SW 117th Ave, Miami, FL 33183. Completed applications must be hand-delivered in a sealed envelope to the district office between May 18 and May 29 from 9 am to 3 pm. (The office will be closed on May 8 and May 25.)

Small Business owners in Miami-Dade County’s District 12 can apply to receive up to $2,500 in grant funding from Commissioner Juan Carlos “JC” Bermudez’s Mom and Pop Small Business Grant Program. Applications are available online and at Commissioner Juan Carlos “JC” Bermudez District Office Monday, April 20 through Wednesday, April 29, 2026.
There will be a mandatory informational meeting on Wednesday, April 29, 2026, at 6 p.m. at the Fire Fighters Memorial Building, 8000 NW 21st St., Doral, FL 33122.
Completed applications must be hand-delivered to Commissioner Juan Carlos “JC” Bermudez District Office, 8333 NW 53rd St., Suite 102, Doral, FL 33166, from Monday, May 11 through Friday, May 15, 2026, between 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. and 1 to 4 p.m.
