Hurricane Irma

As we continue our recovery and cleanup efforts, please visit the Emergency website for the latest information on openings and closings in Miami-Dade County.

Native Trees

This list of trees is provided to help you identify shade trees suitable for use in South Florida. Some of these trees will be distributed through the Adopt-a-Tree Program, but most of the tree species used by this program will be contingent on local nursery stock. Some of the species identified here may not be available in large enough quantity to incorporate into the Adoption events.

Please refer to the list of native trees  for Miami-Dade County landscapes.
