What contactless-enabled payment methods are accepted in Miami-Dade Transit EASY Payment System?

Department of Transit and Public Works (DTPW) accepts the following payment methods:

• Contactless-enabled bankcards
  • Visa
  • Mastercard
  • American Express

• Bankcards linked via the following digital wallets:
  • Apple Pay
  • Google Pay
  • Samsung Pay
  • Fitbit Pay

• Make sure the battery on your mobile phone or wearable is fully charged before beginning your trip
• You must always use the same payment device to tap in and out for your trip
• For example: Don’t use your iPhone to tap in, and then tap out with your Apple Watch
• Even though the same bank card may be linked via both devices, you will be charged as if you are beginning a new trip and you lose the benefit of fare capping
