Commissioner Marleine Bastien

Commissioner Marleine Bastien was elected to serve as the District 2 Commissioner of the Miami-Dade Board of County Commissioners on November 8, 2022. District 2 encompasses portions of the City of Miami, North Miami, North Miami Beach, Opa-locka, City of Hialeah, and unincorporated areas of Liberty City, Biscayne Gardens, and North Dade Central.

Commissioner Marleine Bastien Small Business Grant
Small business owners in Miami-Dade County’s District 2 may now apply for up to $10,000 in grant funding through Commissioner Marleine Bastien’s Small Business Grant Program.

Applications are available for download online or may be picked up in-person at Commissioner Bastien’s District Office, 915 NE 125th St., Suite 2A, Miami, FL 33161. The application period begins Friday, May 29, and ends Friday, June 12, 2026. Completed applications will be accepted from Monday, June 8, through Tuesday, June 16, 2026. All applications must be hand-delivered to the District Office in a sealed envelope.
