Notice of Availability of Affordable Housing per Resolution No. R-34-15
As per Resolution No. R-34-15, Miami-Dade County is providing written notice to the public regarding the availability of rental or homeownership opportunities. Developers are required to advertise this information in newspapers of general circulation.  PHCD has been advised of the leasing of the following property:

Father Marquess-Barry Apartments Pre-Leasing Waitlist
HTG Management, LLC will begin pre-leasing for the Father Marquess-Barry Apartments, located at 301 NW 17th Street, Miami, FL 33136 in May 2021. If you are interested in having your name placed on the waiting list for this property, please send an email to [email protected] or call 1-800-226-3445.

This three-story community will consist of a total of 60 units for residents 62 years of age and older and will offer 48 one-bedroom apartments and 12 two-bedroom apartments ranging from 684 square feet to 969 square feet. Community amenities will include a multipurpose clubroom, fitness center, library, media center, a package-delivery locker system and bike racks. The property is named after the late Rev. Canon Richard Livingston Marquess-Barry, a Miami native and former pastor of The Historic St. Agnes Episcopal Church in Overtown.

This property received Home Investment Partnership (HOME) funding from Miami-Dade County.

    Listing of affordable rental housing through HFA’s Multifamily Rental Program, Developers of multifamily housing receive low-interest rate loans to produce new or rehabilitated housing and agree to provide rents at affordable rates for persons of low and moderate income.

    Created by the Florida Legislature to help Floridians obtain safe, decent and affordable housing. The site has an online affordable housing locator service to find affordable rental housing around the state. Housing Assistance Network of Dade (HAND)Citrus Health Network is the lead agency in the Housing Assistance Network of Dade (HAND) program, a multi-agency partnership with Miami-Dade County and local municipalities making an effort to prevent homelessness by providing temporary rental assistance for eligible low-income individuals and families who are currently homeless or are at risk of becoming homeless.
