Miami Tax Pros are professional, IRS-certified tax preparers through the IRS Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) Program. Miami Tax Pros is led by Branches in partnership with group of over 30 strong community-based partners, including the United Way that offer FREE tax preparation for Miami-Dade county residents who are eligible. Miami Tax Pros can prepare your taxes with electronic filing. You can receive services in-person and virtually. The group offers services in English, Spanish, Creole and Chinese to best serve our county’s diverse residents.
In addition to tax preparation, VITA sites also offer connections to other valuable free services like one-on-one financial coaching, financial education, entrepreneurship support and access to low-cost traditional banking products.
The IRS estimates that 80 percent of Miami-Dade tax filers qualify for expert tax preparation that is free. You may be eligible.
You will need to bring forms and documents with you so the IRS-certified volunteers can help you with your taxes.

Other Locations Offering Free Tax Help
Free tax preparation services for qualifying residents are available remotely at the following Miami-Dade County Community Resource Centers: Acción, Coconut Grove, Culmer, Edison, Florida City, Hialeah, Joseph Caleb Center, Miami Gardens, Naranja and Perrine.
Customers can call the centers Monday - Friday between the hours of 9 a.m. - 3 p.m. to request VITA services. Staff will provide the customer with an email assigned to that center in order to upload all supporting documents to prepare the tax return.
