Miami-Dade County offices and libraries will be closed on Memorial Day, Monday, May 29, to remember and honor the men and women who lost their lives in military service to our country. - National Salute to America’s Heroes May 27-28
Enjoy a fun-filled way to recognize the country’s military and first responders at National Salute to America’s Heroes, and pay tribute to those who made the ultimate sacrifice defending our freedom.
- Deering Estate Reduced Admission May 27-29
Take advantage of free or reduced admission to the Deering Estate during Memorial Day Weekend. General admission will be reduced to $5. Also, as part of the Blue Star Museums program, active duty military personnel, and up to five family members, receive free admission to Deering Estate during the summer, now through Labor Day, Monday, Sept. 4th.
- Zoo Miami: Honor the Brave May 26-29
Active military and veterans get free admission with a valid photo I.D. at Zoo Miami's Honor the Brave event. Accompanying guests will receive 50 percent off admissions. Tickets must be purchased at the gate to receive discount.
- Miami Attraction & Museum Month
Spend the last days of Miami Museum & Attraction Month at one of the numerous beauiful museums and attractions around our County. Visit places like Philip and Patricia Frost Museum of Science, Vizcaya Museum & Gardens, Zoo Miami or HistoryMiami Museum at a discounted price.
