Baynanza is a celebration of Biscayne Bay and its significance as one of our most important ecological systems in South Florida. This event brings together the community through several events taking place in March and April, culminating with the Biscayne Bay Cleanup Day.
Celebrating 43 years, the cleanup event features 32 sites that volunteers can choose to pick up trash on Saturday, April 12, from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m., keeping beaches and shorelines clean along Biscayne Bay. Boaters will be able to assist at some of the locations.
Registered volunteers at all official cleanup sites will receive a free commemorative T-shirt. Community service hours are also available to participating students.
