Senior Advisor Rabbi Mark Rosenberg

Rabbi Mark Rosenberg serves as Senior Advisor and Chief Chaplain to Sheriff Rosie Cordero-Stutz of the Miami-Dade Sheriff’s Office, and as Chief Chaplain to the Florida Highway Patrol (FHP), the Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE), and Senior Chaplain of the North Miami Beach Police Department. He also serves as Chaplain to the Miami-Dade Fire Rescue Department, Clergy Liaison to the Miami-Dade County Medical Examiner’s Office, and Chairman of the Miami-Dade Interfaith Advisory Board. In addition, he is Director of Chesed Shel Emes (CSE), a national nonprofit specializing in emergency response, recovery, and crisis support.

A veteran law enforcement chaplain, Rabbi Rosenberg began his service career in New York with the NYPD. Since relocating to Florida in 2007, he has expanded CSE’s partnerships with law enforcement, medical examiners, and emergency agencies statewide, providing critical support to families and first responders. He also provides training and briefings for federal, state, and local agencies on cultural sensitivity, hate-crime awareness, and inter-agency coordination, strengthening trust and collaboration.

He fosters cooperation between government agencies and diverse faith-based communities. Serving in a voluntary capacity, he assists agencies with crisis management, emergency response, and loss-of-life situations with dedication and compassion.
