Community Periodicals Program (CPP)

The Community Periodicals Program (CPP) is part of Miami-Dade County’s multi-layered approach to communicating with all segments of our diverse population. Through the CPP, the County can target messages to readers in the language they prefer. Readers don’t need to pay or own an electronic device to access important County information.

The more than 40 newspapers that participate in the program have smaller circulations that provide relevant news and information to readers in specific neighborhoods. These periodicals offer content in English, Spanish and Haitian Creole, free of charge.

The County's Community Periodical Program (CPP) was established to "provide news and information about Miami-Dade County's programs and services, and other public service announcements to the poor, elderly and disadvantaged citizens who cannot afford to buy or subscribe to a mainstream newspaper."  There are currently 45 Participating Periodicals in the Program.
