The Communications and Customer Experience Department (CCED) handles all advertising appearing in newspapers of "general" or "widest" circulation as required by county code, statutes and federal mandates including legal notices, courtesy notices and public meeting advertisements. Legal Advertising Online

On Dec. 1, 2009, the Board of County Commissioners passed a resolution to enable the posting of legal advertisements on the miamidade.gov website via a link from the homepage. To facilitate this process, CCED developed a system for legal notice posting on miamidade.gov that allows residents to access the County's most current legal ads and public notices as well as receive weekly notifications right to their inbox.

Each department is required to enter legal notices into this application in addition to publishing them in print media. Please note that publishing legal ads exclusively online does not meet legal requirements. Notices posted on this portal are considered courtesy notifications only. They supplement but do not replace public notices required by County code, federal or state law for print advertising. These notices are posted on miamidade.gov prior to or on the same day as appearing in the newspaper.
