Custom Newsletter Creation

Communications & Customer Experience Department can help provide a newsletter template design based on the County’s branding standard, ensure ADA complaints and provide newsletter analytics, including subscriber, send and delivery, and open and click-through rates.

Submission Policy

  • Electronic newsletters (e-newsletters) created by County departments and officials for external distribution to the public or internal distribution to employees of Miami-Dade County need to comply with County branding requirements
  • Newsletters can be sent only to users who have explicitly chosen to subscribe. Subscription to such newsletters is channeled through miamidade.gov's portal personalization module
  • The department must provide a distribution list of at least 100 email address to create and send the newsletter. If this requirement cannot be met, the Communications and Customer Experience Department will work with the department for at least one month to meet that subscriber number, using online registration forms and other marketing tools
  • Newsletters must be approved by the Communications and Customer Experience Department for the usage of standard graphics and layout
    • A template will be provided to newsletter editors, who have the option of selecting a custom graphic banner, and newsletter-specific section headings
