Submission Policy

The Communications and Customer Experience Department reserves the right to use, modify and withhold publication of any submission to the newsletter.

Please note that all copy submitted is subject to editing for length, clarity and to enhance the submission information. Due to time limitations, edits are not shared with submitters before publication.

Be aware that story submission does not guarantee publication. While we appreciate every submission received and do our best to accommodate, we may postpone or cut the publication of submissions at our discretion as is necessary to maintain the length and quality of our newsletters.

What's New

Since it was initiated in 2001, What's New has become a popular and effective communication tool reaching more than 15,000 County employees with Metronet access. What’s New is a Communications and Customer Experience Department e-newsletter.

Pay Day & The Bargain Hunter

The Miami-Dade County Employee Discount Program provides County employees with exclusive discounts and promotions. To deliver these hand-picked offers to employees, these deals are packaged and distributed through Pay Day Message and Bargain Hunter newsletters.

Pay Day Message and Bargain Hunter are Department of Human Resources newsletters, created in collaboration with the Communications and Customer Experience Department.
