Greynolds Park
This 249-acre urban oasis was once the site of a rock quarry until the land was deeded to Dade County to become the third park in the newly formed county park system, opening to the public in 1936.
The park offers areas for group picnics, two playgrounds, walking paths and trails, and opportunities for bird-watching with scenic views of the Oleta River. A fishing dock, canoe/kayak launch, and bark park are also available at East Greynolds Park, a short distance from the main park.
Camp Greynolds features an overnight camping facility with cabins, bathhouse and mess hall available for scout groups, non-profit organizations, and other organized groups with advanced reservations.
Office hours are seven days a week from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
