The countdown is on! Miami-Dade Fire Rescue (MDFR), a world-renowned, Class 1 fire department and the 6th largest in the nation, is opening its firefighter recruitment process for a limited time, and we need your help to spread the word.
From July 21 to August 11, 2025, individuals with a passion for public service, grit, and a heart for helping others are encouraged to apply online at www.miamidade.gov/jobs.
This is a rare and highly competitive opportunity — the chance to join MDFR’s elite ranks only comes around once every three years.
