Commissioner Natalie Milian Orbis in partnership with City of Miami Beach Commissioner Alex Fernandez: Free Beach Day for District 6 Residents

Miami-Dade County Commissioner Natalie Milian Orbis, in partnership with City of Miami Beach Commissioner Alex Fernández, is launching the Miami Beach Free Beach Day program to make it easier and more affordable for District 6 families to enjoy our world-famous beach.

“The beach is one of our community’s greatest treasures, and I want our families to enjoy it affordably,” said Commissioner Milian Orbis. “With this partnership, we are giving our residents the chance to create lasting memories without worrying about added costs. I thank Commissioner Fernández for working with us to make this program possible.”

Through this program, District 6 residents will receive a complimentary voucher that includes:

• Two lounge chairs
• One beach umbrella

Voucher Details: Valid through December 31, 2025

Redeemable at:  

• Ocean Drive and 7th Street  
• Ocean Drive and 13th Street

To make beach days even more affordable, the City of Miami Beach is also offering a $1 per hour parking discount through September 30, 2025. The discount applies at municipal parking lots, municipal garages, and on-street spaces when using the PayByPhone or ParkMobile apps.

The Miami Beach Free Beach Day program is part of Commissioner Milian Orbis’ work to expand recreational opportunities, support families, and improve the quality of life for Miami-Dade residents.
