Commissioner Natalie Milian Orbis to Serve as Director of the Miami-Dade County League of Cities

Miami-Dade County Commissioner Natalie Milian Orbis will serve as a Director of the Miami-Dade County League of Cities, bringing a results driven approach to strengthening coordination between municipal governments and Miami-Dade County.

“I will serve with a clear focus on results,” said Commissioner Milian Orbis. “Cities and the county work best when we are aligned, communicate clearly, and solve problems together. My priority is to strengthen coordination, cut through bureaucracy, and ensure local governments are working together for the people we serve.”

Commissioner Milian Orbis represents District 6, which includes six municipalities, and works daily with city leaders on issues that cross city and county lines. Her experience includes prior service as Vice Mayor of the City of West Miami, where she focused on practical cooperation, clear communication, and accountable government.

The Miami-Dade County League of Cities represents all 34 municipalities and serves as a working forum for collaboration on shared priorities, policy alignment, and effective service delivery.
