Miami-Dade Supervisor of Elections announces date for Logic & Accuracy Testing of the voting equipment to be used in the upcoming Florida City Run-Off Elections
The Miami-Dade County Supervisor of Elections announces the date for the Logic and Accuracy (L&A) testing of voting equipment to be used in the upcoming Florida City Run-Off Election scheduled for Tuesday, February 17, 2026.
Florida City Run-Off Election
- Official Logic & Accuracy Test: Tuesday, February 10, 2026, at 10:00 a.m.
This test is part of the standard pre-election process to ensure voting equipment and auditing systems are properly prepared for use in the Florida City Run-Off Election.
Each step of the voting and tabulation process will be tested, from opening the equipment to transmitting and tabulating results. Test ballots will be cast according to a predetermined outcome, with the results then tabulated and reconciled to ensure votes were accurately captured. This is just one of several measures taken during the preparation for an election to ensure that the voting equipment is ready for use.
Representatives of political parties, candidates, the press, and the general public are invited to attend and observe.
“Safeguarding the voting process is one of our most important duties,” said Supervisor Alina Garcia. “Logic and Accuracy testing helps confirm that our systems operate properly and that our elections are conducted with transparency and confidence.”
