Supervisor of Elections Alina Garcia and Doral Mayor Christi Fraga to host Farm Share food distribution event for the community
The Office of the Miami-Dade County Supervisor of Elections, in partnership with the City of Doral, Mayor Christi Fraga, and Farm Share, Inc., invites members of the media to attend a Farm Share Drive-Thru Food Distribution on Tuesday, February 24, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., or until supplies last, at the Office of the Supervisor of Elections (Public Entrance is through Doral Central Park: 3005 NW 92nd Ave, Doral, FL 33172).
This community-focused event will provide free food to families in need across Miami-Dade County. Residents will enter through Doral Central Park, where volunteers will distribute fresh produce and essential pantry items on a first-come, first-served basis while supplies last.
“Serving the public means showing up for our community in meaningful ways,” said Alina Garcia, Miami-Dade County Supervisor of Elections. “This food distribution reflects our commitment to accessibility, service, and partnerships beyond Election Day, and we are proud to work alongside the City of Doral and Farm Share to support families in need in our county.”
Mayor Fraga emphasized the importance of collaboration on addressing community needs.
“When local government and community organizations come together, we can make a real difference in people’s lives,” added Mayor Fraga. “This partnership allows us to support Doral residents and families throughout Miami-Dade County by ensuring access to essential resources when they are needed most.”
Members of the media are encouraged to attend and capture the collaborative effort as volunteers, local officials, and Farm Share staff work together to serve the community.
