Miami-Dade County Commissioner Natalie Milian Orbis issued the following statement regarding U.S. military action involving Iran: “First and foremost, my prayers are with the brave men and women of the United States Armed Forces carrying out their mission with professionalism and courage. We pray for their safety, support their families, and stand firmly behind those who defend our country.

Iran’s regime has long destabilized the Middle East, funded terrorist proxies, threatened Israel, targeted U.S. personnel, and worked to undermine global security. The United States cannot ignore credible threats to our troops, our allies, or our national security. I commend President Trump for restoring American strength and making it clear that our nation will not be tested. From Tehran to the cartels, from Maduro’s regime to Havana, the message is clear: America is strong, America is serious, and we will defend our people and our freedom.”
