Commissioner Keon Hardemon announces 18th Ave Coming to the Jam Block Party
Commissioner Keon Hardemon is proud to announce the 18th Ave Coming to the Jam Block Party, a community celebration scheduled for Saturday, March 28, 2026, starting from 11 a.m. until 6 p.m. on NW 18th Avenue in Liberty City. The festivities will honor the legacy of Miami artists, DJs, producers, writers, and entertainers who have shaped the city's cultural identity.
The block party will be on NW 18th Avenue between NW 62nd Street and NW 71st Street, the same stretch where the Commissioner co-designated nearby streets with music-inspired names honoring iconic songs and artists.
The event will showcase not only music but also art, food, local vendors, and special tributes to those who have contributed to Miami's cultural heritage. Newly co-designated streets, such as "Welcome to the MIA Terrace," "It’s Your Birthday Street," "We the Best Terrace," and "Can't Live Without You Street," will celebrate the creative influence of artists connected to the community.
The event is free and open to the public. Road closures and transportation details will be shared in the coming week. A follow-up press release will provide confirmed artists, DJs, hosts, and a full performance schedule.
