Chairwoman Edmonson to host opening ceremony for Global Warming and Peace Mural art exhibit

Miami-Dade County Commission Chairwoman Audrey M. Edmonson will host an opening ceremony for artist Huong’s Global Warming and Peace Mural exhibit on Tuesday, Oct. 1 at 12:30 p.m. in the lobby of the Joseph Caleb Center, 5400 NW 22nd Ave., Miami FL 33142. The mural will remain on display in the Caleb Center lobby through Nov. 30.

Chairwoman Edmonson Statement on the Passing of Miami Times' Rachel Reeves

It is with heartfelt sorrow to hear of the passing of Rachel Reeves, my cherished friend and a community icon. As the publisher and CEO of the Miami Times, she led Miami’s largest African American Newspaper in the South, providing relevant news and information to the community with grace. This community mourns her passing.
