Chairwoman Edmonson celebrates new veterinary center in Liberty City

Miami-Dade County Commission Chairwoman Audrey M. Edmonson celebrated the grand opening of the ASPCA Community Veterinary Center in Liberty City on Oct. 28. The new facility will provide spay/neuter surgeries and other preventive and basic veterinary care for animals at reduced or no cost to Miami-Dade County pet owners.

Chairwoman Edmonson to host opening ceremony for Global Warming and Peace Mural art exhibit

Miami-Dade County Commission Chairwoman Audrey M. Edmonson will host an opening ceremony for artist Huong’s Global Warming and Peace Mural exhibit on Tuesday, Oct. 1 at 12:30 p.m. in the lobby of the Joseph Caleb Center, 5400 NW 22nd Ave., Miami FL 33142. The mural will remain on display in the Caleb Center lobby through Nov. 30.
