COMMISSIONER NATALIE MILIAN ORBIS ANNOUNCES OPENING OF THE 2026 DISTRICT 6 MOM & POP SMALL BUSINESS GRANT PROGRAM
Commissioner Natalie Milian Orbis is pleased to announce that applications are now available for the 2026 District 6 Mom & Pop Small Business Grant Program, an annual program that helps support local small businesses and entrepreneurs throughout the community.
The Mom & Pop Small Business Grant Program provides eligible businesses with grants of up to $5,000 to assist with qualifying business expenses and investments that promote growth, stability, and long-term success.
“Small businesses are the foundation of our local economy and play a vital role in creating jobs, providing services, and strengthening our neighborhoods,” said Commissioner Natalie Milian Orbis. “I am proud to continue supporting our business community through this year’s Mom & Pop Small Business Grant Program and encourage eligible business owners to apply.”
Applications will be available from June 15 through June 29, 2026, and may be picked up at the District 6 Office located at 1000 SW 57th Avenue, Suite 201, Miami, Florida 33144.
Completed applications must be submitted between July 6 and July 10, 2026, no later than 4:00 p.m.
To assist applicants, the District 6 Office will host two informational workshops where business owners can learn more about eligibility requirements, the application process, and allowable uses of grant funding.

Eligible grant funds may be used for business-related expenses including equipment, supplies, inventory, commercial liability insurance, security systems, advertising, marketing, minor renovations, and rent or mortgage assistance.
