The end of TPS will strip immigration protections from an estimated 350,000 Haitian nationals across the country, including tens of thousands of Miami-Dade County residents.           Miami-Dade County Mayor Daniella Levine Cava and Commissioner Marleine Bastien will be joined by labor, healthcare, and business leaders to address the devastating impacts the end of Temporary Protected Status (TPS) for Haitian nationals will have on local families and the South Florida economy.

          The county’s business community and workforce leaders are joining forces to warn against the drastic impacts this policy change will have across industries ranging from healthcare to hospitality.
