Chairman Anthony Rodriguez Announces Home Beautification Grants to Help District 10 Families Improve Their Homes

Miami-Dade County Chairman Anthony Rodriguez is launching the 2026 Home Beautification Grant Program in District 10, providing eligible homeowners with financial assistance to make exterior improvements to their homes and help strengthen their neighborhoods. Through the program, eligible homeowners may receive grants up to $8,000 to make improvements such as exterior house painting and professional landscaping.

“Every homeowner should have the opportunity to take pride in their home and the community as a whole,” said Chairman Anthony Rodriguez. “This program gives families an opportunity to make meaningful improvements to their properties while helping create cleaner, more attractive and stronger neighborhoods throughout District 10.”

To qualify, applicants must own and live in a single-family detached home. Condominiums, duplexes and apartments are not eligible. Applicants also cannot own any other investment or rental properties and must meet the low-to-moderate household income limits established by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). Applicants must also be current on their property taxes, with no outstanding assessments. Eligible improvements generally include exterior painting and professional landscaping. Grant amounts and specific program requirements may vary based on available funding and program guidelines.

“Strong neighborhoods start with strong homes and residents who are invested in where they live,” Chairman Rodriguez said. “By helping homeowners improve their properties, we are making an investment not only in individual families, but in the future and quality of life of our entire community.”

District 10 residents interested in applying for the 2026 Home Beautification Grant Program or learning more about eligibility requirements are encouraged to register online between August 17 and September 18.
