New County Mayor, Commissioners sworn into office

The five newly elected members of the Miami-Dade Board of County Commissioners, as well as a reelected commissioner, were installed at a ceremony beginning at 9 a.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 17 in the Stephen P. Clark Center Commission Chambers. Mayor-elect Daniella Levine Cava was sworn in as Miami-Dade County Mayor at 3:30 p.m. at the Adrienne Arsht Center.

Westchester Cultural Arts Center Finally, We Are Moving Forward

West Dade residents can be very happy now and look forward to a beautiful NEW Arts Facility offering a variety of cultural, educational, recreational and community activities for the whole family. It will also serve as a School for the Arts for our youth, all year around. “All of us at the Commission are very excited with this wonderful news,” Souto expressed.
